Take control of your life
The pressures of life can make anyone feel a little overwhelmed. It is important to understand the various ways you can cope with the stresses of life. There are a number of resources out there to help you manage your stress including getting enough sleep, eating nutritious food, getting plenty of exercise, and staying connected with friends and family. But what if something is still a little off and you are struggling to cope?
We all know the old adage, "Work hard, play hard." This can be a difficult mindset to avoid in a job that is constantly demanding. However, the stress of work can have serious implications on your health. Employees are being faced with physical and mental health complications due to job stress. The level of stress impacts decisions made at home, which can lead to family conflict.
When we don't deal with stress and anxiety at its root, we begin to suffer from the associated adverse effects. The nervous system becomes overactive and begins to wear out. When the nervous system is overworked it affects all parts of our system – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Yet most people don’t even realise they have a problem because the symptoms have become so common.
